Great breakfast sandwich with some vegetarian options! Wasn't expecting to see veggie sausage on the menu. Happy to see the coffee was locally roasted and it was great.

Had to pick up the blueberry muffin since we were heading back to PA today, wasn't disappointed. The lady working at the front I think was the owner (Charity) and you can tell she knows what she's doing and loves doing it. If you want a quick but quality breakfast with locally roasted coffee and dope blueberry muffins, look no further than A Slice of Eden.

Very small coffee shop that serves pastries and sandwiches. The coffee and chai here were good. Very limited seating available inside.

My absolute favorite bakery in town! They make incredible bagels - I'm addicted to their Salt & Pepper bagel with salmon cream cheese. They always have a really nice selection of baked goods too. I really like their chocolate donuts and the sticky buns! The entire staff is always so friendly and happy to help me find the best goodies of the day. They close for a very well deserved break for the month of January and I will be counting the days when the re open on Feb 5th. Enjoy the break guys! Happy New year and I can't wait until February.

The name says it all!
Their croissants, bagels and rugelach are up there with the best.
Come check out their breakfast sandwiches which are made to order(pretty quickly); they're simple but fresh through and through
There's some great local Maine coffee served here daily.
Expect friendly service here because that's all you'll get.
Their seemingly local and well-curated decor only adds to the charm they have here.

Fun fact- The town of Bar Harbor was first incorporated in 1796, so the town is only 20 years younger than our country. The original name of the town was Eden, for obvious reasons. Locals still sometimes refer to Bar Harbor as Eden and that's where this little cafe obtained it's name. Sweet, dude!

Five stars all day.

When you see a line early on the morning, there's usually a reason. Grand bakery selection, with reasonable drink prices. Key lime pie, cream puffs, bread pudding, and donuts were all sampled.

We enjoyed our coffee and egg sandwiches at this small coffee shop on the way to the whale watch. The whale watch was canceled so we were glad that the breakfast wasn't a disappointment! I had a bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese sandwich on gluten free bread and my husband got the same on a croissant. The gluten free bread was very good and didn't fall apart in my hands as some others I've tried and they make all their baked goods from scratch. They do make a point to state that they can't guarantee that all gluten free baked goods are 100% gluten free so it's important to speak with them if you have an allergy. Seating is limited but there are a few stools inside and two benches outside. Would highly recommend.

Perfect place to get a hefty, tasty sandwich for a hike in Acadia or just grab coffee and and a pastry/slice of pie. Many of the options are vegan, which has both pluses and minuses, but altogether enjoyable.
